Te Ohu Pūniho Ora o Aotearoa
New Zealand Oral Health Association (NZOHA)
Te Ohu Pūniho Ora o Aotearoa – New Zealand Oral Health Association (NZOHA) is the united voice for dental therapists, dental hygienists, and oral health therapists in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Formed in 2021 through the coming together of two long-standing professional bodies, NZOHA connects and supports oral health professionals, advocates for the profession, and works to improve oral health outcomes for all communities.
Our united approach means we can speak with strength, collaborate across disciplines, and align with national health strategies to deliver better, more integrated oral health care.
Our Areas of Focus
At NZOHA, our work is guided by four key areas which shape our vision: to represent and strengthen the oral health profession, foster collaboration, grow skills and knowledge, and support evidence-based practice for better oral health outcomes across Aotearoa.
