We seek one member from each profession (dental therapy, oral health therapy, and dental hygiene) from each region (northern region, midland region, central region, and southern region).

The definition of four regions can be found on Page 16 of the Association Constitution. Regional representatives will work collaboratively with other professional representatives within and across the regions. Regional representatives will form profession-specific advisory groups:

• Dental Therapy Advisory Group (DTAG)

• Oral Health Therapy Advisory Group (OHTAG)

• Dental Hygiene Advisory Group (DHAG)

Please refer to the NZOHA Advisory Group structure.

Regional representatives will be required to have regular meetings and communicate with the executive group. A member of the executive group may choose to attend the advisory group meeting if required.

The term for regional representative members is two years with a continuing right of consecutive nomination. The members of each region will elect regional representatives.
 
Criteria:
Regional representative members must:

• Work collaboratively with other regional representatives and the executive committee;

• Represent the profession and the region for various matters;

• Hold full membership of the association during their term;

• Have their primary employment in the representing region.

• The application form must be completed by the nominee.

• Nominations close at 4:00pm Friday, 21 April 2023.

• No late submission will be accepted.
